“He’s So Cute!” – Jennifer Lopez Couldn’t Stop Gushing Over Alex Rodriguez After His Quick Move in Public During a 2017 Interview

For the four years Alex Rodriguez and Jennifer Lopez dated, they won everyone’s hearts. The couple that successfully managed to bridge the gap between the two worlds of MLB and Hollywood were perpetually under the public eye. And given their massive popularity in their respective fields, the perpetual public eye wasn’t surprising.

Back in 2017, when the couple had just started dating, 14-time All-Star A-Rod invaded megastar Jennifer Lopez’s interview and very literally left the anchor, Liz Hernandez, in flutters.

While Jennifer Lopez talked about her life, followed by a stunning performance, she suddenly saw A-Rod walk into the screen. The three-time American League MVP approaches Jennifer Lopez, kisses her cheeks, and says, “Good show, baby.”

Jennifer Lopez, who was now filled with red cheeks, and a broad smile, said, “He’s the best. He’s so cute.” Access’s anchor, Liz Hernandez, can’t stop smiling either, after A-Rod’s adorable display of love for his then-girlfriend. She added to what J.Lo said, and stated, “It makes my heart flutter.” A-Rod quietly walked away after kissing Jennifer Lopez.

All in all, despite a long list of delightful public appearances, their relationship came to an end in April 2021. Shortly after their split, J.Lo got back with her ex-husband, Ben Affleck. And the newly formed couple married tied the knot in August this year. A-Rod, on the other hand, has been around his friends and family since the breakup. He was in a relationship with the model Kathryne Padgett, but that didn’t last long.

Notably, Alex Rodriguez and Jennifer Lopez started dating in 2017. After the collision of these two worlds, the couple won everyone’s hearts with their extremely adorable public appearances and supportive nature. Slowly and steadily, everyone started believing that the baseball icon and pop star are end-game. Adding to popular public opinion, the couple announced their engagement in 2019. However, what met the eye, and what occurred behind the public eye, were very different.

In 2020, the Coronavirus pandemic hit the world and the couple’s marriage had to be pushed twice. Analogous to that, two years after getting engaged, in April 2021, the couple officially announced the end of their engagement, citing that their relationship had run its course.
