Major League Baseball’s two-way phenom Shohei Ohtani, in only five years into his career. He has shown that he is soaring to achieve greatness in the sport. Something like that happened to the two-way phenom when his team, the LA Angels, went against the Oakland Athletics in the last game of a four-game series.?

Ohtani, with his wonderful play, has built up the expectations of countless people. Hence, whenever he plays and is not able to live up to those expectations, fans can become unhappy. But this time, when it happened, Angels’ manager, Phil Nevin, was the one to stand up for him and made people realize that the two-way phenom Shotime is also a human.?

Without missing a beat, he said,?“[After Shohei gave up five runs in the 4th inning], the whole place was deflated. Everybody’s like what happened? He’s human. He’s gonna give up runs you guys. We’re in a dogfight now. Let’s fu… Let’s go.”

As soon as these words left Nevin’s mouth, baseball fans from all over started cheering for the Angels’ manager for standing up for Ohtani the way he did.
