If you think that Aaron Judge is a colossal presence, well, you are not alone. The WNBA star Caitlin Clark also thinks the same and much more. The WNBA rookie was attending the Yankees’ doubleheader against the Texas Rangers as a special guest. A video shared by the Yankees on their Twitter page has captured Clark’s pure joy as she gets to explore the stadium.
Clark was all dressed up in a Yankees custom jersey, with her name and 22 on it was seen happily hopping around the field, touring the clubhouse. And even visiting the YES Network broadcast booth. She has met a lot of baseball stars but she was most amused by meeting the 6-foot-7, 280 + pound captain of the team Aaron Judge, whom she found “pretty huge and swole”. Despite his larger-than-life stature, she found Judge to be “a great guy, down to earth” and much more.

In this crazy crossover between basketball and baseball, we could see Caitlin being astonished by the sheer size of the Yankees team captain. Caitlin Clark joined Michael Kay during YES Network’s broadcast she revealed that she was most excited to meet Aaron and how she felt once she did “He’s way bigger than even people think,” Clark said. “You know he’s big, but then when you get next to him, it’s like, ‘Oh my gosh, you could probably play football, just about any sport you want to.’ He’d probably be pretty good at basketball, too. But, yeah, he’s a good guy, down-to-earth. … He’s like double my height.”

It’s true that he probably can be good at any sport he will play, but if we talk about baseball he is one of his career high in the 2024 season. He is leading all of baseball in home runs with 41, RBIs with 105, and OPS with 1.148. Recently we could also see Aaron Nola complimenting him as a “beast”. And now this compliment by Caitlin Clark has just been added to the list for him as lately, he has been receiving a lot of them, especially after reviving the Yankees from their rough patch.
Do not think that the WNBA star is shorter, she stands 6ft tall herself, but yes, when it comes to Aaron Judge standing at 6.7 ft anyone would look short. Apart from Aaron she also met Anthony Rizzo, Juan Soto, Anthony Volpe, Aaron Boone, and Alex Verdugo. Apart from being tall, and star players of the teams, they share one more common trait.

Clark, on the YES Network’s broadcast, also shared that she plays with passion, and maybe that’s why people love watching her. And it’s true as 18.9 million people watched the finals because she was there. The most any basketball game has gotten since 2019.
The 2028 Olympics is all set to be held in LA, where we may see Caitlin Clark, but the chances of seeing Judge are relatively low. As per the MLB guidelines MLB players are not allowed to participate in the Olympics. While the 32-year-old, baseball star has had his prime season and is on his way to his second American League MVP, would he take over the Olympics at 36 when most players begin winding down? Especially with his Injury issue? Although the chances cannot be denied.
