Others are saying that his choice of outfit is not fitting or flattering.
One fan went even as far as to say, “Look, I love The Captain but his sense of style is objectively horrific. He’s his generation’s MJ (in terms of style, at least).”

GQ, also known as the Gentlemen Quarterly is a men’s style magazine, owned by Conde Nast. They have recently opened a new club, the Sports Style Hall of Fame. The new style hall features three of the most amazing athletes of all time – baseball legend Derek Jeter, basketball superstar Allen Iversen, and former American footballer and MLB player as well, Deion Sanders.
Other than the style hall of fame, Derek Jeter was on the cover of GQ three times. In 1998, 2000, and 2011. Jeter’s image in those days was that of a style icon. No wonder he was the face of so many brand collaborations in the earlier decades, and now he’s back as one of the first faces of the new Style Hall of GQ.
He has been a frequent collaborator and brand ambassador for designer brands like Versace and has his own line of fragrances as well as his own line of footwear, and so many more.
