Because of a wrist injury offseason, Tatis Jr. has not played a single match this season till now and won’t be playing anymore as a result of the ban. When asked if the Padres will be embracing the return of their shortstop next season, pitcher Joe Musgrove talked about his teammate, who will remain a part of the Padres’ clubhouse.??

There have been thoughts about how the Padres’ will welcome?Tatis Jr.?to the team after the ban. The shortstop’s teammate, Joe Musgrove, on the topic?says,?“A lot of things between now and then will dictate that. He’s our teammate still, he’s going to be in our clubhouse. We’re going to have to find a way to get on the same page and move past this. I don’t know what that looks like yet, but as the time comes, it’ll be a little clearer. “
For now, Tatis Jr will be serving his suspension of 80 games after refuting at first for the same.?
Why did Tatis Jr refute the suspension?
According to Fernando, the result of the drug test came back positive because of the medication he took to treat ringworm.

The players union on Tatis Jr’s behalf has released a statement of him apologizing. But the apology did not work, as his statement was heavily criticized for having a formal tone.
