Derek Jeter has been nothing but a blessing to the game of baseball. The former New York Yankees captain re-defined the game with his incredible leadership and clutch hitting. There might be several better players who played the game better than Jeter. But when the conversation is about a leader of the team, no one is even close to Derek Jeter.
Jeter was someone who played the game according to situations. He never cared for individual glory or achievements. Winning the game was always the priority for the Yankees legend. And that sets him apart from other MLB players.

Is Derek Jeter at the same level as Michael Jordan, Serena Williams, and Tiger Woods?
Michael Jordan, Serena Williams, Tiger Woods, and Tom Brady; all achieved the pinnacle in their respective game. But so does Derek Jeter. Having played for over two decades in Major League Baseball, Jeter remained consistent throughout his baseball career. Something that only a few athletes have been able to do.
Right from the start of his big league career, Jeter was a match-winner. When he arrived at the Yankees, they were going through a title drought for the last 15 years. And after he arrived in the Bronx, Jeter won five World Series titles for the Pinstripes. He brought the Yankees back to where they belonged.
