LA Angels star Mike Trout might be out on the injured list, but he still hasn’t stopped spreading joy to the world. While Trout is currently recuperating from his surgery to repair his hamate fracture, the Angels’ fanbase took it upon themselves to make the day of a young man suffering from the brutal disease, cancer.

There might be no fixed timeline for Trout to return to the diamond. However, intentionally or not, the 31-year-old brought joy to a young man. It is to be noted that Mike is doing this all while being injured. There is no doubt that his team will be affected big time in his absence, but the Angles slugger seems to have provided some courage to a young Angels fan to battle cancer.

Trout has been playing in the league for over a decade now. Having been an All-Star 11 times, he is close to being called a legend of the game. However, one of the best players in the league continues to spread joy in the world as much as he can. He might not have been able to help this kid by himself. Hence, the Angels’ fanbase did the job. Members of the fanbase met Marshall Daniels and his son Tim during their visit to Coors Field.

As they talked, Angels’ Win found out that the young man, Tim, was a week away from having surgery for thyroid cancer. Not going to try and stay still and help the family in the way they can, the Angels’ Win sent Tim a t-shirt with Trout’s name on it and the Angels’ cap. Notably, the young fan of Trout was ecstatic watching his “swag” and had an ear-to-ear smile as he posed for the picture. Taking to his Twitter handle, as Mr. Daniels shared the story, he also prayed for Prince Fish to get better soon.

Shortly after Tim’s father thanked the Angels’ nation for their heartwarming gesture, baseball fans started pouring their love for Tim to fight and win the battle with the disease.

The adorable smile of the young man made many people’s day!

After reading Timothy’s story, baseball fans on Twitter couldn’t help but send wishes to the Daniels family. Meanwhile, as Go Halos echoed, members of the Angels’ nation hinted that there might be many other gifts coming Tim’s way before his surgery on July 12th.
