Tampa Bay Rays leading by one, final at-bat of the game, Aaron Judge, is in the box. The storyline for a perfect Yankees ending was unavoidable. As the New York Yankees captain struck the ball, it felt like one of the 62 homers from 2022. And that the Yanks will have one final chance to beat the Rays, after a difficult and hard-fought series. But maybe not as much…

The Yankees were down 3-0 until they managed four-run innings in the third, with two, two-run homers by Oswaldo Cabrera and Anthony Rizzo. However, in the fifth, Albert Abreu conceded a grand slam, which took the Rays to eight, and the Yanks could never cover up after, as they eventually lost the game.

And he could hardly believe it when the ball landed straight in the hands of center fielder Jose Siri, as the Yanks lost the game 8-7 and split the series. Adam, after the game, reflected on the final homer, and said,??I thought it was 30 rows deep. But thankfully, [Judge] missed it more than I thought.”

Judge too, thought he hit the ball perfectly well, but the result is as you know. The Yankees leader said, ?I hit it good, but off the bat, just hit it too high. Especially with how deep it is out there, [I was] kind of praying for a miracle once it got up there.?
