But when the shortstop and his wife, Hannah Jeter, were waiting to welcome their first child, the supermodel did an interview wherein she talked about her husband taking over some duties as a father. Before they had a daughter, their first kid was a dog, Italian mastiff, and Jeter used to clean up after him.
What duty was Derek Jeter prepared for?
The couple brought their first baby, the dog, home at the insistence of the supermodel. She persuaded Derek by telling him that she’ll be helping him with everything for him, that they’ll share tasks and everything. But that did not happen entirely. The five times World Series champion Derek Jeter was the one who was cleaning the dog’s mess, but he didn’t hate it.
Therefore, when the journalist asked Hannah if Derek would be on diaper duty as a father, she said yes. “Yes, oh, for sure, because he picks up anyways right now. In the beginning, I was like, we’re gonna get a dog, and I’ll help you, and then that’s become his product,” said the supermodel.
It’s been five years since the couple welcomed their first baby. And in the meantime, they have welcomed two more baby girls. The family is bigger, and so are the responsibilities.
