After seven more matchups between the Texas Rangers and the Arizona Diamondbacks, the 2023 season would end. With this matchup, a new MLB champion is on the horizon. Both teams are vying for the coveted title, especially the D-Backs, who could secure their second championship. The situation, however, presents a contrasting scenario for the Rangers.

Notably, this is the ninth time the team from the Lone Star State has made it to the playoffs. However, they have yet to win a championship and will look to amend this time out. Moreover, their recent performances also make them a perfect challenger. If they win, it would be the perfect ending to their season that saw them upset big teams in a bid for their first World Series win.

However, the task will not be simple against the Arizona Diamondbacks. Even though many consider them favorites, the Rangers have a fair idea of how the postseason works, having lost the championships with the odds in favor in 2010 and 2011.

Thus, they will look to be cautious against the Diamondbacks, a team that has surprised all to make it to the dream finale. But with a brilliant postseason run backing, the ALCS winner can handle it well to be on top.
