A former MLB player, who won a World Series with the Chicago Cubs, recently put his fans on edge with a bold teaser. That player would be the thirty-seven-year-old Pedro Strop, who played for four different teams in his MLB career, primarily for the Cubs.?

Known for wearing a slightly crooked hat while pitching, Strop hasn’t played in the big leagues since September 2020. But his intentions for the same sure do look different with his recent announcement for fans.?

Aside from his distinctive pitching style, Strop is also known for his aggressiveness on the mound. In his first stint with the Cubs in 2013, the athlete emerged as one of the best relievers in the entire league. He might have not won countless accolades to his name, but he did take his team to win a World Series in 2016. After that, he won countless fans’ hearts.?

And now, Pedro posted a small clip of him practicing his pitching. As he did so, he also wrote, “I want to come back.”?

It was at this moment that baseball fans got visibly excited, and they showed their enthusiasm in the comments of Pedro’s Twitter post.?

Needless to say, Cubs fans showed the most excitement wanting the player to be back on the mound. They also added that their team desperately needs one of their best to become winners again.
