MLB is unpredictable, and a team’s fortune can change in a heartbeat. The New York Yankees have experienced that this season. After making the ALCS in the 2022 postseason, the Bronx Bombers are struggling to win games this season. Furthermore, their bad form has been punctuated by injuries to important players. But the Yankees’ most recent roster update may spell a positive change for the team.

Carlos Rodon suffered an injury during Spring Training and is expected to return later this month. Giancarlo Stanton suffered a mid-season injury closely followed by Yankees captain Aaron Judge, who is injured at the moment. But the team’s most recent roster update is a step forward.

The Yankees have been truly unfortunate with injuries, with stars like Aaron Judge and Giancarlo Stanton getting hurt mid-season. But the team recently made a positive roster update and activated Harrison Bader from the injured list. He suffered a strained left oblique muscle during Spring Training and has not played for the Yankees this season.

Bader will help strengthen a diminished Bronx Bombers lineup, offering help on both sides of the game. Talkin’ Yanks shared the news regarding Bader on Twitter.

In a tweet, they said, “The Yankees have activated Harrison Bader from the IL and optioned Franchy Cordero to AAA”. This is a big update for a struggling Yankees team that is languishing at the bottom of the AL East. Fans have reacted to the news as well and are happy.
