Bader while thanking the Yankees for giving him the opportunity said, “It just means so much to me to be a New York City kid playing in the Bronx for the Yankees and, yeah, it’s just really special for a lot of reasons,”
He cherished the pinstripes and added, “So there’s just a lot of good moments, and I’m just really excited because regardless of the situation, no one can ever take the fact that I put that uniform on, growing up in that city, which means a lot to me…. I’m just very, very excited and thankful for the opportunity and, man, that was special.”
Notably, Bader had a great start to the Yankees career. He played well in the postseason and scored five home runs. He continued the same run this season and even after a few misses, recorded a decent average of 0.240. Bader scored 40 runs, with 37 RBIs and seven home runs.
However, even after this, his effort fell short of satisfactory. And the Yankees chose to trade him for new players. And fans are not happy with the way the Yankees treated Bader.
Fans Criticized Unethical Treatment of Yankees Towards Bader

Idk how you justify keeping Hicks and Donaldson longer than him. This the type of player you wanna keep. Perfect leadoff guy, spark plug & wants to be a Yankee
