It has been years since Alex Rodriguez played his last MLB game. But his career and records still follow. It’s been years since the ex-shortstop accepted his usage of PEDs, that brought him a suspension, hampering his career. But the shortstop made a return to serving the ban and found success. It looked like a fairytale end to his woes, with fans lending back their support for him. But recent reports related to the Biogenesis scandal have again put him against the fans. It again created a scenario that Rodriguez would not like to see. But it seems, this time, not everyone is against him.
Rodriguez’s Past Struggles Resurface With Biogenesis Scandal
Alex Rodriguez was a player who stole the limelight since his MLB debut. He ticked all the boxes of a star player, which is why he got one of the biggest deals of his time. But in 2013, the star slugger was a part of the Biogenesis scandal. Though it ended after his acceptance, the latest report from ESPN proves that it is still open. According to the report, after repetitive denial, the former Yankees’ third baseman became a whistleblower and revealed the names of fellow league members to investigative authorities.

This act of snitching has put Rodriguez against the fans. Given that many are yet to forgive him for bringing the darkness of PEDs to the Bronx, the latest reports have made them angry. Many have joined social media to express their dissatisfaction.
But it seems many think otherwise and are not going by his scandal but by his contribution to the team. Sharing a clip from his 2009.
