Even celebrities from the entertainment industry often express their love for their favorite MLB team. Most recently, Grammy-winning artist Travis Scott paid his visit during a Houston Astros game at Minute Maid Park to support the reigning champions. While doing so, he also made revealed the secret behind his baseball skills.

Scott is a massive celebrity presence at Astros games, cheering them on through good times and bad. He celebrated their 2022 World Series Championship by giving the team a special gift. But during his most recent appearance, the star rapper shared his secrets to batting.

Travis Scott shared his batting secrets during his latest appearance at Houston Astros’ Minute Maid Park

Travis Scott loves the Astros and is regularly seen at their games. Most recently, he took part in their batting practice, showing off some of his skills. After the practice session, he even shared some of the secrets behind his skills in dialogue with a reporter. MLB Life shared a video of the interaction on Twitter, as the rap star tries to explain his skills. Scott talked about being able to read pitches and see the ball. He also mentioned being home and the hot Texas weather.

In the video, Scott says, “Well you know, when you step in, you got to read these pitches. Day in and day out, you know what I mean? Floor to the floor. Sometimes you got to see the ball. It might drop. Today’s been a long day. It’s very hot. We’re anticipating very hot Texas, very Gulf weather today. I had to see my own coach gave me a couple of pointers after the pickup from yesterday. I did okay on the road. Today we’re back home. I just got to show what I got to do.”

This was an interesting look at the mindset of the iconic rapper when he steps up to the plate to bat. Furthermore, he was able to compare his skills to top Major League talent. But batting practice was not the only thing that Scott did during his most recent visit to Minute Maid Park.

Although Travis Scott took batting practice with the Astros’ stars, he also showed them his skills. The star rapper reportedly gave the Houston-based team a sneaky listen to his upcoming album “Utopia”. It is his latest studio album and comes 4 years since his last album, the highly touted “Astroworld“. It will be interesting to see whether Scott takes batting practice with the Astros in the near future.
