Performing multiple sets during a concert can sometimes get too much. Hence, performers tend to take breaks in between their sets to relax. Mayer did the same, but while doing so, he decided to take things up a notch. Hence, between his sets at Citi Field, the Grammy Maestro took an excellent tour of the Mets’ home ground. It was led by none other than the 4x All-Star shortstop Francisco Lindor.
While doing so, he did not fail to thank Lindor for his friendship and hospitality through pictures from the concert and the duo taking the tour. Also, another thing to note is that the sports enthusiast iconic singer Mayer did it all while wearing a Mets jersey with Lindor’s name on it. The singer wrote to his Instagram handle, “Series MVPs: @lindor12bc for his friendship and hospitality, and the @mets organization for taking such wonderful care of me and one of their biggest fans: my dad.”
