The New York Yankees fans are not ones to remain silent! Be it their own elimination or that of another team, the Yankees faithful know how to make noise. In the underway playoffs, the Yankees unfortunately could not make it, and with that, they received some trash talk from opponent teams. But how the tables have turned!?
On Tuesday, there was the first significant upset of the MLB postseason. The Baltimore Orioles were the team with the most need to win out of the four American League teams who were competing. Regretfully, they could not make it.?
Texas Rangers Swept The Baltimore Orioles Out of the Playoffs

After sweeping the series in three games, the Texas Rangers easily defeated the Orioles 7-1 to guarantee their place in the ALCS for the first time since 2011. The Orioles finished their first season with more than 100 wins in more than 40 years. This marked the first time they had lost a series all year. The Rangers are the first playoff club to finish their division-round matchup.

After a depressing defeat to the Rangers on Sunday, 46,000 Baltimore Orioles supporters left? Globe Life Field, in silence. Their expressions were ones of grief rather than rage. After an amazing play that the Orioles put up over the entirety of this postseason, this sweep was saddening.?

In both games against the Orioles, the Rangers? offense was persistent. The opening inning of Game 3 witnessed the Rangers score first, continuing the pattern from the preceding game. But Baltimore’s prospects of winning the game were lost in the second inning. Following Mitch Garver’s two-run double to start the scoring, Adolis Garc?a launched a long three-run home run, capping the hit with a spectacular bat flip. And, in an instant, the Rangers led 6-0. With that, the fans went bonkers.?
New York Yankees Fans Cannot Keep Calm
While the Baltimore supporters drooped down with disappointment, New York Yankees fans took the opportunity to get back at them. For the Orioles who threw shade at the Yankees for their playoff elimination, it was now their time.?
