The vibes are infectious inside the New York Yankees clubhouse. Not only have they defeated the ghost of their past in Justin Verlander but are on the way to sweeping the Houston Astros. For a team to finally defeat their kryptonite is a huge thing but what makes it special is that the Pinstripes are dominating their foes. Yesterday the Yankees once again routed the Astronauts 9-4 and that has made Aaron Judge particularly giddy.

The Yankees captain is seeing his team evolve into a winning machine. The fact that he too is returning to his best is just a cherry on top. With pitchers and hitters finally starting to function on all cylinders, Judge can’t help but feel hopeful about the future. He said as much in his postgame interview

“I hope (there’s more),” Aaron Judge said to the reporters. It means good things are happening and the Yankees are winning. In the last two games, the Yankees have scored 19 runs. As a result, with a 23-13 record, they currently have the most wins in the American League. However, what makes these wins special is just how equal the contribution was of the pitchers and the hitters.

“Rodon went out there and did his thing, found the strike zone well,” Judge said. “And Soto set the table man, he started it off getting that two-run homer to give us the lead.” The star just couldn’t stop praising Juan Soto. Similar was the case with Giancarlo Stanton, Judge couldn’t help but be in awe of his 119.9 mph rocket.

However, one can’t help but wonder whether the Yankees can continue this fine form or not. They have flattered to deceive before and the hitting staff can go missing sometimes. So is this form sustainable?

Aaron Judge’s return to form could be game-changing for the New York Yankees

After this win, the Yankees are now on a five-run winning streak. However, the most important part is the recent hot streak that Aaron Judge has found himself in. According to popular insider Max Goodman, Aaron Judge has been hitting .500/.591/1.056 in the last five games. That has translated to 6 runs scored, two homers, and six RBI. Is it too early to say that All Rise is back?

That certainly screams like a man who is starting to lock in the plate. For the Yankees that is nothing less than a blessing. Even though Judge had remained productive even during his lean April, the return of a heavy-hitting All Rise is just what the Yankees need. Recent results are evidence of that. The moment Judge started performing like his usual self the Bronx Bombers have found themselves with a little winning streak.

So while the New York Yankees’ captain is hoping for things to continue, he might be the key to his team’s success. Can Judge sustain his current level? Perhaps he can. However, would one be surprised if he manages to exceed it in the coming days?
