The thirty-year-old has already proved himself to be one of the best in the league, with professional bowling being yet another sport that he excels at. Another player has now made his place at the table, Baltimore Orioles’ 26-year-old outfielder, Ryan McKenna.

The young prospect recently mirrored the legendary golf player Tiger Woods before he called home to celebrate an iconic achievement.?

How did the Orioles prospect come in the same category as Tiger Woods?

Golf legend Tiger Woods has earned countless accolades during his career. Most prestigious of which would be getting inducted into the World Golf Hall of Fame. While Ryan is still finding his grip on the diamond, he is showing extensive talents at the golf course.

Most recently, at TPC Harding Park in San Francisco, McKenna finished an 18-hole round at par, shooting a 72, which means that Ryan finished the round with 72 strokes. Which, by the way, is the same score as Woods in the PGA Championship of 2020.?

About his incredible feat, Ryan texted his father, saying,?“Hey, I shot even par.”?Hitting even par is challenging enough in a game of golf. But reaching a milestone similar to Tiger Woods, despite not being professional, is much more significant.?

Career change time for Orioles prospect?

A fourth-round pick of MLB’s 2015 draft, Ryan McKenna, debuted in the big leagues in the early season of 2021. In the same year, the young athlete earned his career’s first home run against off of Nick Pivetts of the Boston Red Sox. Since then, although McKenna has played in the big leagues, he found himself unable to score yet another homer.

On the other hand, the 26-year-old is showing tremendous talent on the golf course. But does that mean the baseball player is looking for a career change? Well, only time will tell what lies in the future of the Orioles’ McKenna.?
