Alex Rodriguez is undoubtedly an MLB great. After a successful twenty-two-season career in baseball, A-Rod retired with a list of accomplishments a mile long. Since then, he has taken up a lot of new ventures, like part-owing a basketball team and establishing his business empire. He still stays in touch with baseball as an analyst for FOX Sports. But a new-ish interest of the former Yankee is yet another sport – golf.

With a natural athlete’s talent, Rodriguez was a multi-sport player in high school. But while he played QB for the football team in addition to baseball, golf is still fresh for him. The former shortstop has made appearances at golf games over the years, the most recent being the WM Phoenix Open and the Reggie Jackson Golf Tournament. There, he rubbed elbows with professional players and even caught up with his old teammate Derek Jeter at the latter!

Recently, Rodriguez expressed admiration for yet another golf game.

The internet isn’t very familiar with Rodriguez’s swing because he’s not a regular, unlike his pal Jeter. For the unversed, the former Yankee captain holds an annual Celebrity Golf Tournament for his non-profit, the Turn 2 Foundation.
