Mike Trout Opens Up on “Pretty Special” Tiger Woods Connection as $350M Dream Project Collaboration Continues

The sporting world is all about inspiration. Someone has inspired all these athletes, from LeBron James to Derek Jeter to Wayne Gretzky to Tiger Woods. And with their success in their respective sport, became an inspiration for many, continuing the cycle, which will hold truth forever. And the Los Angeles Angels Mike Trout, whom former US President Barack Obama adored, is the latest example.

The 11 times MLB All-Star is one of the most successful baseball players in the world. Since his MLB debut, Trout has made many records and has been an idol for many upcoming baseball players. But with golf, the slugger is not the one who is in a commanding position. Though he is adding more to it through a golf course with legend Tiger Woods,  his journey will always be of a disciple. Trout, who adores golf, discussed it during a meet with his fellow MLB All-Star, Mookie Betts.

Tiger Woods Inspired Mike Trout to Start His Golf Journey

Baseball will be the first sport on Mike Trout’s list. But when it comes to second, golf takes the spot. Trout plays and enjoys golf thoroughly as he spends his off-duty period on the greens. But because of the hectic MLB schedule, there is always a shortage of time for Trout. And bring parity to his love for golf. The player is making a golf course under the guidance of his friend, teacher, and favorite star, Tiger Woods.

Woods’s company will design and build the project. Named Trout Reserve, the golf course in Vineland will be part of the $350 million valued Magic Sports Complex. It will give a new identity to Trout’s golfing career, which started only after inspiration from Woods. Though Trout now shares a cordial relationship with Tiger Woods, when it comes to golf, this relationship goes beyond that.

Trout focused on this during his appearance on the show “On Base with Mookie Betts.” He addressed many things, including his golf journey and tiger woods’ impact on it. Metts asked him about his relationship with Woods. Trout had an inspiring answer to it. He said, “It’s pretty special man, just to be able to talk to him, just watching him go, because he’s the reason I started golf. Just watch a tiger. I was a big Tiger fan.”

But the journey is not of a fan now. It has become more of a friendly relationship, where the two play the role of great friends in helping each other fulfill their dreams. And Mike Trout could be a part of Woods’s one such dream.

Will Trout Add Strength Behind Wood’s TGL Dream

Tiger Woods has found all the success on the greens with 15 majors to his name. He is also the second youngest male player to win a major in golf history. Having spent decades on PGA tours, Woods wants to take that success with his dream TGL series.
