Golf has become the primary support for famous athletes. From LeBron James to Mike Trout to Derek Jeter, everyone has shown love while testing their skills on the greens. On the same lines, ex-New York Yankees star Johnny Damon has become a fresh addition to the growing list. Damon showed his golfing skills at the $25 Million LIV golf league.

Being backed by the former POTUS Donald Trump, the league is being held at the Trump National Golf Club Bedminster. Given that Damon is a big Trump supporter, it was a perfect opportunity for him to extend his support for the former president. The same was visible in his latest Instagram post, which boasted a cleverly crafted caption playing with words.

With the league anticipated to be a grand affair, the start has already made everyone happy, which was visible in the replies to the post. It also includes author Ed Mylett, who wrote, ” Great time today brother”. Whereas the other exclaimed, “Absolute blast out there today.”

But the most interesting reply was from a fan who revisited Damon’s world series win, “Hey Johnny, I’m a big fan of yours. I have a 2009 WS jersey when you were with the Yanks and wanted to see if you could sign it.” The emotion synced with Demon’s legendary time with the Yankees.
