And adding more to it, PGA Tour star Justin Rose added his presence with a recent MLB visit, days after golfer Bubba Watson joined the baseball fever.

Rose made the first pitch during the Chicago Cubs vs. Chicago White Sox game, like Watson, who did the same in the minor league. The visit came while the PGA and LIV are forging a partnership. It synced with the future, where the golf stars from each league play together. Adding another chapter to cross-sports interaction allowed baseball fans to share their thoughts.

The 2023 MLB season is going great for the Chicago Cubs. The team is doing great and is in the race of clinching the NL Central after maintaining the second spot at a winning percentage of  0.517. Because of it, the team is becoming a great center of attraction, and golfer Justin Rose verified the same with his visit. The 11x PGA winner was a guest at Wrigley Field.

The Cubs shared an Instagram post related to his visit. The Caption of the post read, “Rose meets the ivy 🌹

Notably, his visit worked well for the Cubs as they won a close game with a score of 4-3. The same was the reaction from the fans, who were elated to see him visit. But how will they respond to the PGA Tour and LIV Golf merger, which is expected to be around $3 billion?

Watson’s Friend Tiger Woods Joins PGA Board

Since they announced the PGA Tour and LIV Golf merger, things have heated up. The two parties are trying to reach a common point to complete the deal, but things are still complicated. And after individuals crucial to the deal showed their displeasure, Tiger Woods was called in as a board member. There is a divide in the golfing world regarding the league’s future. And Woods will voice the concern of players as LIV Golf works to ally with the PGA.
