New York Yankees legend Alex Rodriguez has always been a meticulous person. Not many people might know, but A-Rod gives careful attention to detail even when he uses facial or beauty products. He is someone who even urges his fans to do the same thing if he comes across something useful. And at times, he also ends up receiving heavy criticism for the same.

Something similar happened when the former Yankee partnered with a telehealth brand to launch a men’s skincare product. However, instead of getting appreciated for such a bold move, he received criticism for launching a men’s makeup line. But few people did come out in support of him. Former professional golfer Paige Renee Spiranac was also one of them.

Not only did she appreciate the former Yankee for making a bold move, but she also slammed the people who bashed out A-Rod.

What did Paige Spiranac say about Alex Rodriguez?

Earlier this year, Paige, on her podcast, ‘Man of the People,’ among many other things, talked about A-Rod’s makeup line for men. In the episode, the golf influencer talked about the importance of men’s skincare products and also why it’s good for them.

According to Paige, the product launched by A-Rod is not a makeup set per se but a skin care product designed especially to take care of men’s skin. Later, she went on to say, “I think that a guy who utilizes sunscreen is a huge turn-on.”

She said that people should stop hating on A-Rod but appreciate him for bringing a product that could help their skin get better. She also urged men to use the product to get rid of wrinkles or spots. And if a skin care product helps them, then there is no wrong with using it.

What product did A-Rod launch?

Last year, A-Rod partnered with the brand Hims & Hers to release The Blur Stick, a concealer targeted towards men. He said it felt and looked like eye black, a popular under-eye grease used by baseball players all over the world.
