However, in the years that followed, Torres’ struggled to find his form, hitting just .243. Recently, Torres once again showed glimpses of his earlier greatness, logging a .257 batting average with 24 homers and 76 RBIs. Although not quite his best, these stats demonstrated his continued value to the team. Despite his ups and downs over the years, Torres remains a highly skilled and promising player. Time will tell if he can recapture the magic of his rookie years, or if his previous struggles will continue to be a challenge.
