Known for his serial hitting from the plate, the New York Yankees superstar Aaron Judge is winning hearts over a beautiful gesture during the Thursday game against the Oakland Athletics. Notably, the Yankees reliever Greg Weissert did not have a great outing from the mound in his major league debut. It was just painful to watch him.

However, Judge and other Yankees teammates made sure that Weissert felt nothing negative after a poor game. If talking about Weissert’s numbers, he only had five strikes out of his 15 pitches. The Yankees reliever also conceded three runs.

New York Yankees are finally back on the winning track. For the first time, the Yanks have won four straight games after the All-Star break, which sums up how poor they have been in the second half of the ongoing MLB season.

Aaron Judge: The Captain!

What makes Aaron Judge a great ballplayer is the fact that apart from being an excellent hitter, he also knows how to lead the team. His mere presence in the Yankees clubhouse makes the environment better.

When Weissert returned to the dugout, Judge and other teammates comforted the Yankees reliever after his horrible start from the mound. And after watching this incident, the internet is full of praise for the Yankees players, especially Aaron Judge.

Taking to Twitter, the Yankees fans demanded the management name him the next captain of the team. One fan asked the Yankees management to give him a blank check for his next contract and name him the next Yankees captain.

Another baseball fan appreciated Judge German for sitting down and joking with Weissert to make him feel better. One fan even said that he would go to war for this team. Several other tweets praised Aaron Judge for his humbleness.

The Yankees win four in a row

After their series sweep against the New York Mets, the Pinstripes have got the much-needed confidence. Given the Athletics are not having a great season, the Yankees are most likely to dominate the entire four-game series.

And if the Aaron Judge-led team wants to make their case for the championship this season, they must continue this domination over any team.
