The New Year is officially here! Everybody celebrated the last day of 2022 in their own special way. Some decided to go out and party, whereas others decided to start the New Year by doing the things they love. For athletes, it can be said that one of their favorite things is to work out. Therefore, it won’t seem wrong for them to put in the last workout as the new year commences. Hence, it was the case for a New York Yankees player.
Outfielder and designated hitter Giancarlo Stanton decided to spend New Year’s eve with the last workout of 2022. Soon as the Talkin Yanks put the picture of five times All-Star player on Twitter, fans started complimenting him for a great year and a great season ahead. With it, they also told stories of how they were spending their New Year’s eve.

Since there are always two sides to a coin, one is good, while the other isn’t. Fans’ reactions over Stanton spending his New Year’s eve with a workout did get appreciated as well as his ability as a player was also questioned.

Not long after the 2022 season commenced, the outfielder hit the 361st home run of his career against the Toronto Blue Jays. Then came his fifth selection in the All-Star Game. The slugger wrapped up the All-Star game by becoming the MVP.
