When the wedding bells ring, “A lot of good memories” come gushing in. Congratulations to Jameson Taillon, ex-New York Yankee and former teammate of Gerrit Cole who got married a couple of days ago. Strikingly, the wedding was graced by the presence of “some guys with good arms”. But something about it stood out.
Soon after the wedding, images of current and former teammates spurred the internet. They are nothing but heartwarming and outright adorable! Snippets from the wedding captured display a distinction between on-field and off-field bonds, keeping aside competition. But it is the ear-to-ear smile that stole the show.

Talkin’ Yanks tweeted the image that captured the hearts of the MLB world and fans. Not only that, Amy Cole too posted a carousel of images on her Instagram reflecting the common emotion at the celebration. The genuine bond and camaraderie among the pitchers stood out. Particularly, the inclusion of the reigning AL Cy Young winner, ‘Cole Train’, and World Series champion, Jordan ‘Gumby’ Montgomery.

Taillon’s wedding had former Yankees teammates Michael King, Clarke Schmidt, Collin Theroux Gerrit Cole, and Jordan Montgomery in attendance. This stirred the social-media pot and rightly so, it’s impossible to look back at a time when former New York Yankees stars Jordan Montgomery and Michael King were competing at one point. With multiple reasons to reminisce about the occasion what stood out is their off-court bond.
Cole, who recently won the Cy Young award, has been in the headlines for a while now. Apart from the fact that he won the laurel after being perennially missed out for the award, his behind-the-scenes contribution has been commendable. With that and the current free agency, Jordan Montgomery might be a good match to pair up with him in the rotation for the 2024 season.

Yankees Exploring Pitching Options While Also Considering Jordan Montgomery
While the talks of Monty being a good fit for the Yankees have not subsided completely, the club is looking for other options too. After losing out on Yoshinobu Yamamoto despite an aggressive chase, eyes are on names like Blake Snell and of course Montgomery. That said, one must account that the 31-year-old has been vocal about feeling a certain pressure as a Yankee.

Nevertheless, what is worth applause is that despite all the discussions and back and forths, the ‘friends’ under the pinstripes came together to celebrate togetherness and shower well wishes. No matter what happens in the off-season or on-field, one thing is clear. The pitchers’ bond is unbreakable.
