Gary Sanchez almost flew out of the ballpark?
Gary Sanchez is famous for his hard-hitting skills. He is a champion at the art of smashing home runs. Sanchez is a pitcher’s nightmare, who can tear through any pitching line-up. However, he was almost on the receiving end of Sunday’s game.?
Sanchez wasn’t about to be hit by any opposition pitcher, but rather by a batter. That too, a batter of his own team, on that note. Sanchez was preparing for his chance at the plate at the top of the eighth inning. At the same time, Gilberto Celestino was warming up with some bat-swing practice.?
An absent-minded Sanchez carelessly walked towards Celestino’s direction. The bat luckily missed either Sanchez’s head or face. Celestino then got seen taking a sigh of relief. Although, none of the batters had their luck shine for them during their individual performances.?

his reaction time being so bad that he doesn't flinch until after the bat passes is what gets me here

why would he walk that close to a dude in the batter’s box obviously prepping for an at-bat
— djbewbz (@djbewbz) September 5, 2022
Man should be a bit more aware of his surroundings. Looks to me like the batter's circle was right there and his teammate looks pretty much like he's prepping his swing.
