Fans were very excited that Derek Jeter and Alex Rodriguez would appear together on Fox Sports regularly. But the latest updates on Jeter’s role have shut down all of that excitement. The Yankees’ legendary shortstop will only make select appearances for Fox Sports this year. New York Post reported stating that Jeter will make appearances at MLB’s London games, the All-Star game, and during the postseason.

According to the New York Post, “Jeter is only going to work the studio for the London MLB games, the All-Star Game and then in October.” This means that Jeter and A-Rod will not be making any regular season appearances together. Furthermore, they are likely to only be on screen together when Jeter makes his select appearances.
