Los Angeles Dodgers star Freddie Freeman and his wife Chelsea Freeman share their wholesome love for their son. Freeman’s a champion, and just like his dad, Charlie is also following similar footsteps in Japan. While Freddie Freeman shows his love by posting a picture on his social media handle with his son walking alongside him, his wife, Chelsea, isn’t far behind, as she also shared an adorable picture that drew love reactions from the fans.

The Los Angeles Dodgers lost to the Athletics by 5-7 during the spring training. But it was special for the Dodgers’ first baseman, Freddie Freeman, as his wife and his kids made a visit. Their sons wore the Dodgers’ T-shirt, displaying their support for their father as well as the team. But that’s not all!

Freddie Freeman shared a picture of the father-son duo, calling itCharlie’s JP,” while Chelsea Freeman took to her Instagram, sharing a couple of videos of cheering her son. Not only did it give the fans a glimpse of her son, Charlie, who was standing in the ground and making his way out later too. But one thing that sets Charlie Freeman apart has been his cap, which has managed to grab the attention of fans quickly. But what’s exciting to see is that Freddie Freeman is allowing his son to follow a similar path and gradually love the sports, which can pave the way for him to be a successful player in the major leagues in the future.

Freddie Freeman’s 2024 record was good, given that he had a .282 average with 153 hits, along with 89 RBIs and 81 runs scored across the 147 games he played and posted 22 home runs as well. He even managed to win the first World Series MVP and the World Series title for the second time. And now with his elder son, Charlie, making his way into the ground and trying to do his best, fans are hoping to see him replicate the same magic in the future.

Amid the happy faces, Freeman has more to worry

While both Freddie and Chelsea Freeman managed to shower their love for their elder kid, Charlie, as found from the Instagram post, there’s a matter of concern as well. They all faced a crisis situation last winter when Charlie’s brother, Max Freeman, was diagnosed with a critical disease—Guillain-Barre syndrome. His immune system consequently had an impact on his nervous system, which led to weakness, numbness, and even paralysis. In order to care for his son, Freddie Freeman had to abruptly leave the game. But that doesn’t end here!

The two-time World Series Champion, when returned to the mound, was given a standing ovation by the fans. During an interview on the Foul Territory, he said, “I have been thinking about that moment this whole offseason. When I came back from being away from the team with Max, I came back to a standing ovation. I’ve been getting my name chanted for all three years I’ve been with the Dodgers.” So, it’s indeed a sign of respect for him. Freddie Freeman even left a significant impact in the Fall Classic while playing against the New York Yankees, thus ending the season on a high too.
