Freddie Freeman made his MLB debut with the Atlanta Braves in 2010. Playing 12 seasons with the Braves, he is a six-time All-Star Member. He is also a one-time World Series champion, having won the trophy with the Braves in 2021. Freeman became the Los Angeles Dodgers’ first baseman, joining the franchise in 2022.
The members who were part of the Braves 2021 World Series winning team visited the White House on Monday morning. Meanwhile, the Braves are presently in Washington for an away series against the Washington Nationals. So it was seemingly the best timing to honor the team. But Freeman, who was instrumental in the Braves’ triumph, was rather involved elsewhere.

Freddie Freeman rose to stardom as a star slugger, playing for the Braves. He remained a frontline member of the Braves unit. Freeman slammed 31 home runs in the Braves’ glorious campaign last year. His athletic defense made him a furthermore valuable asset for the Braves.
However, defying expectations, he was not among his former teammates for Monday’s special occasion. Understandably, there can be various reasons explaining his absence, due to present commitments. The primary statement might be Freeman attending a Morgan Wallen concert with his wife. On Monday night, Freddie’s wife Chelsea shared an Instagram reel of the couple from the concert.

Freddie enjoyed some leisurely time with his wife amidst a busy schedule and more intense fixtures ahead. On the other hand, the Braves went on to play against the Nationals, after the special event on Monday. The Braves played the series opener against the Nationals. Continuing another magnificent season, the Braves extended their victory run.

The Braves gained a comfortable victory, pummeling the Nationals by an 8-0 margin. Struggling throughout the season, it was yet another poor outing for the Nationals. While the Braves, having already clinched the playoff berths, just carried on their fine form.
The road ahead for Freeman and the Dodgers
Freeman is enjoying yet another majestic season, after joining the Dodgers. Presently holding the best overall win-loss record, the Dodgers were the first team to clinch playoff berths this season. Reigning over with a dominant form, the Dodgers appear to be among the prime contenders to win the World Series this year.
