On his 71st birthday, Fred Lynn, known for outfield ability, was witness to a very different kind of birthday gift. On turning 71, Lynn, and his two knees, prepared to embark on a life-changing journey that could potentially leave the nine-time All-Star outfielder bedridden for a long time. However, Lynn had different plans. Finding a companion in the traditional Johnny Walker, Fred Lynn is up and about within only 22 days of his surgery, and the Boston Red Sox Hall of Famer has already found his way to the gym.
Notably, on his 71st birthday, Lynn, who spent the majority of his MLB career with the Red Sox, underwent a knee replacement surgery. Post his surgery, Lynn was expected to be on walkers for a significant amount of time, but the BoSox star used the Walker, Johnny Walker’s whiskey to help him through his tough phase.

Now, only 22 days into his surgery, Fred has reached Twitter with a brand new update on his condition. And the four-time Gold Glove winner recently hit his cycling machine with a positive note on recovering at a quick speed.
