World Series 2022
The World Series is here, and in what way? The National League witnessed an unexpected turn when both Atlanta Braves and Los Angeles Dodgers faced a surprise end to their 2022 journey after getting knocked out by the wild card entries, San Diego Padres and Philadelphia Phillies. Furthermore, now the American League superpowers, Houston Astros, lost to the underdogs, Philadelphia Phillies, in the first World Series game.
This loss would be a major setback to the Astros who’ve now lost their first postseason game in 2022. Notably, they clean-swept the Mariners and Yankees and now lost the first game to the Phillies. However, the Astros have lost the first game in all their World Series appearances. Hence, this could easily be credited to tradition.
