It won’t be wrong to say that Tom Brady is one of the most iconic NFL players. Over time, he has accomplished everything there is to accomplish in his career. But did you know that he wouldn’t have had a legendary career in the NFL, but rather, in Major League Baseball? Yes, in 1995, the Montreal Expos, whose title hopes were dashed by the 1994 league-wide strike, had drafted Brady in the 18th round, and they were paying him plenty too!
Tom Brady was a catcher, straight out of high school. However, at that time, Brady also had the option to play football at the University of Michigan. Hence, he thought it best to stick to football. Tom Brady had earlier also told Dan Patrick in 2022, “I’d be selling insurance, man. Baseball was not my sport.” Well, looking at how his career panned in the NFL, it’s safe to say that he made the right call in his career.

We’re getting hit all the time.” The lighthearted exchanges between the two biggest football stars were delightful to see. While they both are not baseball experts, they sure are connected to the sport, and Mahomes is even a part owner of the Royals.
