After hitting a home run, he shortened his celebration by taking a unique approach and doing a community high-five. He high-fived the air, with several teammates responding as he got ready to return to the mound. This unique celebration happened amidst an elite two-way performance.

Ohtani struck out 10 batters from the mound and smashed 2 home runs from the plate while carrying the Angels to a 4-2 win over the Chicago White Sox. He smashed his second homer in the bottom of the seventh inning. This hit took the game away from the White Sox by making the score 3-1. Furthermore, he did this all without superstar teammate Mike Trout backing him up. Talkin’ Baseball shared a video of the interesting celebration via Twitter.

In a Tweet, they said, “Ohtani said f*ck your high fives I gotta pitch”. The strategy seemed to work wonders as he pitched 6.1 innings and struck out 10 batters. Furthermore, he only allowed 1 run during his time on the mound. This was a truly elite pitching display, coupled with his game-changing hitting performance.
