Captain Clutch Derek Jeter did a lot of great things in his career as a professional baseball player. He brought in numbers on the diamond and also brought in the World Series to grow as a player and as a team member. But one thing that he never compromised is his want to keep his personal life separate from his professional. He tried his best to stay as private as possible and got successful at it to an extent. 

But he and his wife, supermodel Hannah Jeter, every now and then share glimpses of the big moments of their lives. Similarly, the supermodel decided to give a peek into the former Yankee’s life behind his back, which intrigued the Captain to “get back at her.”

Why did Derek Jeter want to get back at his wife?

In order to keep his life as private as possible, the former shortstop decided to stay away from social media. But a few years after he got retired and did not have any reason left to stay away any longer, he agreed to make an entrance on social media. Like many others, his wife also celebrated.

But while doing so, she went behind his back and posted a picture of him from his childhood. In the picture, he has a goofy hairdo, courtesy of his dad, with a butterfly collar, which was the start of Derek Jeter becoming a style legend. Recently, while talking about the picture in the interview with GQ, he said, “She didn’t tell me about that either. She just tried to have some fun with me. I’ll get her back.”

Although it hasn’t happened yet, their fans sure would want to see how the Hall of Famer would get back at his wife. 

How did Jeter meet his wife?

Having known nothing about the former shortstop Derek Jeter, it was a plus point for the supermodel Hannah Davis when she got to meet him for the first time. While the model was having dinner with her mother, she ran into a mutual friend of hers and Jeter. Who then introduced her to him in the same restaurant.

The pair clicked instantly. And it was a great, if not perfect, time for Jeter to meet Davis as it was the off-season in 2012. The pair then started dating and got engaged after three years in 2015. They got married a year later and welcomed their first child the next year in 2017. Since then, the two have become proud parents of three kids.
