Notably, given his immense talent, Turner’s signing will only bolster the Phillies’ roster and prepare them for a title run in 2023. Trea Turner, however, before moving on to the next chapter of his career, had one last thing left to say to the Dodgers’ fans.
Trea Turner says goodbye to Dodgers fans:
In a special message before he starts playing for the Phillies, Turner said goodbye to his Dodgers fans. He replied to a goodbye message from the Los Angeles Dodgers. And said “Thank you @dodgers fans! Was blast playing in front of all of you! Memories I’ll never forget! 🤟🏼”

For those unversed, Turner had a great 2022 season with the Dodgers and will be beginning his new chapter in his best form. The All-Star adds to an already deep Phillies batting lineup and will bring new energy to their fielding as well.
The move has left Dodgers supporters sad to see their All-Star leave. A lot of fans have reacted to Turner’s goodbye message with positivity and have wished Turner good luck.
Thank you for leaving us with unforgettable memories Trea! We have a saying here in Los Angeles once a Dodger always a Dodger, so remember that always good luck to you in Philly!!!💙💙💙

As a dodger fan I hate seeing a guy like you play for another team. But as a fan of the game of baseball, I'm happy to see you succeed no matter where. Best of luck, and may the baseball gods look down on you.

It will be interesting to see how Turner plays in Philadelphia and how the move turns out for the team. Furthermore, many are wondering whether the signing will help the team win the world series in 2023.
The move was a rather easy one for the Phillies, as Turner made the 1st team All-MLB in 2022. What’s more, is that Turner is a versatile player who can play more than one position.

Turner opened up on why he chose the Phillies:
At his official introduction as a Phillies player, Turner opened up on why he signed with them. As per Turner, he and his wife believed Philadelphia would be the best option for them.
Turner said, “We just pictured ourselves here. I pictured myself in this uniform. She pictured living here and having family come and visit. We pictured playing with Bryce and Schwarber and a lot of those guys on the team now, Kevin Long. It just seemed like a lot of things added up and pointed us in this direction. We were excited about it.”
