Last night, MLB franchise LA Angels played against the Kansas City Royals. Notably, the Angels are having one tough season, but not more challenging than the Royals. Therefore, winning last night’s game was a big deal for The Crowns, but it also became one of the biggest for Shotime.

Even though the Angels lost the game by scoring one less than the Royals, Shohei won countless hearts with his hitting skills. In the seventh inning, Ohtani powered a long solo home run to the center field. As he did so, he brought his home runs of the season to a total of 23, more than anyone else in the league. 

With this 23rd homer of the season, Shohei brought his career home runs tally to a total of 150. With his statistic, he permanently wrote his name in MLB history by becoming the second Japanese player to hit 150 MLB homers. Notably, it is a fantastic feat and will indeed help his case when he signs the record-breaking contract in his free agency. Fans from both the USA and Japan are rooting for their favorite player to have a contract as big as a billion dollars.

Everything that Shohei does, either on the plate or on the mound, only tells how good of a player he is. Until now, aside from having 150 home runs, Ohtani as a pitcher has 546 strikeouts. Needless to say, it is an amazing feat that not many can achieve.
