While most players show up for spring training with nothing but a glove and ambition, Miguel Rojas somehow walked into an international crossover event. As the Dodgers took the field in Tokyo, he found himself in the company of MiSaMo, the J-Pop trio stealing hearts and the spotlight.
The Los Angeles Dodgers are at the center of the universe and everything seems to be revolving around them. During the exhibition game, the girl J-Pop band, MiSaMo made an appearance. They had the chance to meet with some of the best ball players and both the parties were excited.
On March 16, the Dodgers played the Hanshin Tigers and this was a very special game for everyone present there. The girl band was getting ready to throw the first pitch. They met with top baseball stars like Miguel Rojas. Rojas was seen teaching the pop stars how to throw a baseball and did a pretty good job at it.

After the meeting, Rojas offered them a free baseball and the girl band had an ecstatic reaction. The band also ended up meeting some of the stars from their own country like Yoshinobu Yamamoto and Roki Sasaki.
While some fans stew in jealousy, Miguel Rojas walked away as the undisputed winner of this crossover—adding “J-Pop pitching coach” to his résumé.
Baseball and pop culture have collided in Tokyo, proving once again that the Dodgers aren’t just a team; they’re an international spectacle. And certainly, they have already won the internet.
