Last night was extra special for the Philadelphia Phillies. Not only did they benefit the series by playing at their home, but they also had a special guest who paid a visit to Citizens Bank Park. It was the series closer of a three-game series against the LA Dodgers.

Sometime during the game, Phillies stars Bryce Harper and Trea Turner shared a frame with America’s comedy sensation, Matt Rife. However, soon as the pictures of the trio went out, fans were in disbelief.

Philadelphia Phillies stars must have had a good time!

Considering the Phillies have not played up to their expectation this season yet, Matt’s presence might bring some life to the Rob Thomson-led side. Last night was the same for the team, esp for the Phillies stars Bryce Harper and Trea Turner.

With a fan following of over 4 million on Instagram, Rife is best known for his self-produced comedy specials. And now, the famous comedian is known for being a huge fan of the runner-ups of 2022. In the two pictures posted by the Phillies’ Instagram account, Harper, Turner, Rife, Brandon Marsh, and Bryson Stott were all smiles. And as the caption said, “The boys got a comedy lesson today,” from the looks of it, Rife did a good job.

Even so, the pictures posted had the baseball fans in disbelief. The reason behind it was the extensive editing done in the two pictures before they got posted.

Nothing can go away from fans

The edited pictures posted by the Philadelphia Phillies’ were extensive to the point that they made the athletes look much different from what they are in reality. Notably, fans have a keen eye, especially for things that can go wrong. And editing in the two pictures did the same for the Phillies’ fans.

Hence, fans on Instagram wrote, “Why does bryce look 87”, “Who the hell edited this picture I’m laughing”, “bruh who deep fried this picture”, and “Idk what filter you guys use but my boy Bryce looking kinda old recently.” 

Meanwhile, there are a few fans who did like the pictures. Therefore, they wrote, “The girls gonna go crazy over this one”, “why can’t Brandon marsh look at me the way he looks at matt rife”, and “Thaaats why there’s been so much smoke 😏😮‍💨🥵.”
