A former New York Yankees player has recently got married. And his wedding photographs have been trending across social media. One of those images features him with his ex-teammates of the Yankees’ rank including the iconic Aaron Judge. The image has thus set up a debate among the MLB fan community.

Former Yankees’ pitcher Jordan Montgomery has thus tied the wedding knot. Montgomery got traded off to the St. Louis Cardinals this year, in exchange for Harrison Bader. However, that didn’t stop Montgomery from inviting Judge and his former Yankees teammates to the special occasion. Consequently, the group photo featuring Judge has set the MLB fraternity abuzz.

Now back in the Yankees frame, and million dollars richer, Judge is enjoying the off-season. Notably, Judge signed a $360 million contract with the Pinstripes earlier this month. So he also showed up at his former teammate Montgomery’s wedding. The Talkin’ Yanks network posted the group photograph on their Twitter account, quoting, “The squad was at Monty’s wedding.” The image also features former Yankees Chad Green, Jameson Taillon, Corey Kluber, and Jonathan Holder.

Taking to Twitter, MLB fans could not control but react to this iconic photo. One of the fans replied to the post, quoting, “All I recognize is Judge.”

Jordan Montgomery: A former Yankee, a present-day Cardinal, and now a married man 

It’s obvious for Montgomery having invited his former Yankees teammates to his marriage. Back when he got engaged, he was still a Yankee. Some of Montgomery’s engagement images featured him with his wife McKenzie Dirr at Yankee Stadium. 

According to the New York Post, speaking of their engagement, Montgomery said, “New York, I want to say thank you for letting me live out my dream for the past 6 seasons as a NY Yankee. McKenzie and I will never forget the people and memories we have met and made along the way. On that note, God is good! We are excited to join the St. Louis Cardinals and are so thankful for the new adventure ahead.”
