The tweet by Bob Nighengale is captioned, “Aroldis Chapman now warming up in the Rangers’ bullpen. Nate Eovaldi is at 97 pitches”. Now that it is out in the open, one can’t contain the excitement of how Wednesday night’s game will unfold. Will victory lean toward the Snakes? Or will the World Series wind up today? Well, as the ball is in D-Backs’ court, only time will tell.

Contrary to the emotions among fans, things did look bright for the Texas Rangers soon after. For six scoreless innings, Nathan Eovaldi lived up to his image as a big-league pitcher. He managed by coming in and out of jams. Before the Rangers finally got their first hit and run off Arizona ace Zac Gallen in the seventh inning, Gallen threw the much-needed, six scoreless innings. What happened next made the win quite inevitable.

After keeping Arizona off the board for the final three innings, Aroldis Chapman and Josh Sborz took four more off Paul Sewald, the D-Backs’ closer to secure the historic victory. This also counts as an unprecedented 11-0 road record for Texas in the postseason. There was another Texan who gave the game a finishing touch and sealed the deal.
