Cheers mixed with Boos, split-finger fastballs, and errors transformed into hits-welcome to the MLB star, Aaron Judge world. Friday night was indeed a memorable one for the Yankees’ gun outfielder, a night he would remember for a long time. Playing against the team he grew up cheering for, and the one he left being a free agency, Judge has sealed the deal for the New York Yankees. 

On Friday Night against the San Francisco Giants, Judge delivered a pair of home runs, helping his team score 6-2, overhauling 35,018 agitated fans. After the match speaking with Yes Network, Aaron shared some interesting insights.

Looking determined and gifting a thumpy win over the Giants for the Yankees, Judge’s off-field interview reflected the same theme. On the field, he reached on an infield hit right in the first innings and made a three-run homer in the third. Showcasing his brilliance, he homered Hicks again in the fifth innings, ending the sixth one with a solo shot. This has given him 14 long-run balls and 27 RBIs this month; that’s a massive achievement. 

Off the field, In a post-match interview with Yes Network, Judge said,” Yeah, you dream a bit in the backyard, you know.  Playing around a little bit, and Kruk and Kuip I have heard over the years. Calling the game, hear all the homers Barry hit here, pretty cool, so happy to come away with Wayne, with one.”

Following up on the reporter’s question of how he feels about playing here tonight, Aaron Judge replied,” It was great, packed house, fans are rowdy had family and friends there. So, it was fun. I wish I could have played ’19. We saved it until now. “

Of course, in a stadium where approximately 40,000 fans are against you, booing is a default thing. Reacting to that, he said,” I didn’t know what to expect. But, I didn’t mind it.” How impactful is Aaron Judge in the bullpens though?

Defying all odds, Judge has become the only player in MLB history to play 35 career multi-homer games in less than 1,000 career games. Finishing the Friday night game, he averages .371, and with a 1.415 OPS, it’s an impressive ending for the star outfielder. Over the last three seasons, Judge, without a doubt, has established himself as the best baseball hitter. In 2022, he scored 62 home runs, setting a new American League record. An outstanding 37 home runs followed the same in 2023 despite having an injury and not playing 56 games. 

Fast-forward to May 2024. After winning over the Giants and playing in front of a growing fan base, Aaron Judge’s confidence is rocket high. Leading the American League in doubles and home runs, Aaron Judge seems thirsty to shatter records.
