The Kansas City Royals are proving to be one of the worst teams in the entire league. And their players are making the situation even worse. After suffering a four-game series defeat against the American League leaders, the New York Yankees, the Royals started the three-game series with a win against the Chicago White Sox.

However, the Royals could not enjoy their win for a long time, as they lost the next game on Tuesday. And the Royals players looked frustrated during the second game of the series against the White Sox, especially Amir Garrett.

Yes, not only the Royals, but their relief pitcher Amir Garrett is not having the season he wanted to at the beginning of the season. The Royals pitcher has been one of the worst performers for his team in the current season. During the recent game at Guaranteed Rate Field, the situation got even worse when Garrett tossed a drink at a White Sox fan.

The Royals reliever Amir Garrett clarified his action

Notably, Amir Garrett has been receiving harsh criticism for tossing a drink at a fan during the White Sox game. And since Garrett has been of little help for the Royals, some fans got the chance to slander him. Taking to Twitter, baseball fans tried to teach a lesson to the Royals pitcher.

One fan criticized the White Sox fan for teasing Garret and said Garrett also lost his cool. Another fan tweeted in favor of Garrett and took a dig at the White Sox fan, who provoked the Royals pitcher to throw his drink.

Since Garrett is a professional athlete, he will eventually receive criticism from fans on poor days. A couple more fans weighed on the same.

After the game, the Royals’ pitcher also came up with his statement and said that sometimes fans cross their line. And that is why he had to react during the game.
