Aaron Judge has had a stellar season with the New York Yankees. He broke records on the way to setting a new high. But it might as well be the last season that he entered the playground in a Yankees jersey. While Judge has turned into a free agent now, the son of a former Yankees legend has spoken about Judge.

All-time baseball great Roger Maris set an MLB record for the highest seasonal home run tally in 1961. Maris slammed 61 home runs in that season to surpass the legendary Babe Ruth. More than six decades later, Judge smashed his way to 62 home runs going past Maris. Though Maris’ record was beaten multiple times before, Judge is the first one to do in the American League.
While Judge was on the quest for his historic home run, the entire Yankees fan base eagerly anticipated it. One noteworthy person, in particular, tracked Judge’s progress more closely. He happened to be none other than Maris’ son, Roger Maris Jr.
A description of the essence of Aaron Judge
Aaron Judge powered the Yankees into the postseason this year. The Yankees are the most popular baseball team in terms of global outreach. More than just a royal MLB franchise, the Yankees are a glamorous brand. On that note, the alliance of the iconic Judge and the Yankees is considered to be the perfect pairing of style and substance.

Therefore, speaking about Judge, Roger Maris Jr. wrote on his Twitter account quoting, “I hope Aaron Judge stays a Yankee. He is the face of the greatest franchise in sports 27. He will be made Captain. Yankees have the money. My dad always said there is not a better place to play than Yankee Stadium. A full career in the pinstripes means something in monument park!”

I hope so too but I do not think he will.

That stadium was tore down I hate to tell you.

Nothing like being an MVP for 162 games, then getting booed because your struggled in 7 games. Yea playing in pinstripes is a real blessing.

Unfortunately he is going to sign with SF. Opening Day 2023 is going to be extremely difficult as we see Judge on that team. 😫😥😰

Roger . Much respect , but Yankees haven't been greatest franchise in at least 13 years . We can only live on legacy so long before we need more memories of greatness . If you're under 19 , you've only seen Boston win 4 times to Yankees ONE

"greatest franchise in sports" is a stretch, but yes it would be weird to see him play for a different team. If any team can make the economics work, it's the Yankees.

Therefore, not everyone is hopeful about a Yankees’ term extension for Judge.

Nonetheless, which way Judge swings his bat will only depend upon his own final decision.
Judge is the quintessential modern-day baseball icon
Judge made his MLB debut with the Yankees in 2016. Following on, he won his respective league’s Rookie of the Year Award in his second season. He soon established a reputation as an iconic slugger and an acrobatic fielder. Judge is a four-time All-Star player who is yet to win a World Series trophy. After the Yankees’ exit from the league championship round this year, his wait has further extended.
