

After long days of anticipation and hard work, the celebrity-studded invitational by Derek Jeter, hosting the likes of various celebrities and athletes, commenced two evenings back. The Celebrity Invitational Golf Tournament, one of the foundation’s major events, is being organized by the former Yankee in pairing with Sharlee Jeter, who serves as Turn 2’s President since 2019.
On the first day itself, the Foundation made a large $50,000 donation to a local trust, before their fate took another day in just 24hrs.

Derek Jeter’s Invitational is seemingly a big hit with another massive donation
The Celebrity Invitational Golf Tournament commenced with a party on Friday, before the signature golf tournament took place all across Saturday and the gala on Saturday night. Last evening, the foundation received one massive donation worth $500,000.

Turn2Foundation uploaded a story thanking the car- brand Wagoneer for a massive $500,000 donation to the foundation. The words of thanks included, “Thank you @wagoneer for your generous donations.”
In addition to that, the story also said, “These funds will support our programs that empower youth to rise above negative influencers, strengthen their leadership skills, create positive change and achieve their full potential.”

First a $50,000 donation. Now $500,000.
Almost immediately after arriving in the Bahamas, Derek’s sister, Sharlee, who is also the president of Turn2, announced that the foundation, founded 27 years ago, will be donating $50,000 to the Baha Mar Resort Foundation.
On an Instagram story, Derek and Sharlee, with a check in hand, announced, “Since its opening in 2017, @bahamarresorts has supported a wide range of causes pertaining to community, culture, and conservation throughout The Bahamas, and we are proud to support their efforts.”
