Alex Rodriguez and Jennifer Lopez redefined the idea of a cute and adorable couple. Since the first time they met, they instantly clicked. And in a brief span of time, introduced each other to their kids. The couple started dating in 2017 and got engaged two years down the line, in 2019.

Within a year after their engagement, Jennifer Lopez made her way into an extremely iconic list that included Shania Twain. And her list of thank you’s extended to the Yankees’ third baseman and their entire family.

Per a report from 2020, Lopez won the Icon Award at Billboard’s annual Women in Music Event. Following the victory, she joined a long list of legendary celebrities Aretha Franklin, Shania Twain, Mary J. Blige, Cyndi Lauper, and last year’s honoree Alanis Morissette.

After officially entering the group of awardees, Jennifer Lopez delivered a speech that involved a special mention for her then-fiance, Alex Rodriguez, and their family of four kids.

While thanking them, she said, “Of course I want to thank my beautiful family for going on the road with me, for touring with me, for supporting me, for allowing me to be the artist that I am.”
