In baseball or any team sport, teammates are more like a family for any player. During the season, one spends most of their time with teammates only. Most recently, the San Diego Padres stars were asked to name their best friend on the team. Star outfielder Juan Soto replied with a wholesome answer. He said that he loves all of his teammates and that they are all his best friends. This was a sweet answer to a possibly team-dividing question. The Padres shared a video of the players answering the question on Twitter.

In the video, Soto said, “Everybody. Everybody’s my best friend. The least one, Jose Azocar. I’m just kidding. I love all my teammates. I’m fine with it.” In between answering, he even cracked a joke at Jose Azocar’s expense. Soto is truly relishing his time with the Padres after a controversial end to his time with the Washington Nationals.
