Throughout the 2022 season, Aaron Judge surpassed every expectation that was ever laid on him. He’s gone. Enjoy him San Francisco.

If he wants to go home I understand but 300 million good luck beating that offer and they are willing to raise the offer as well. Idk if I’m Yankees I’m letting him go got the best out of him and use that money for pitching and contact hitters. We need less strikeouts

Might sound crazy, but it could be surprisingly difficult to find 3-4 players for 37.5 mil who could bring as much of an impact as Judge.

Only if the Giants do. Cashman shouldn't bump just because he wants a deal done soon.
— BenjiSnipes (@bj82) November 30, 2022
Why wouldn’t he? It’s reported that there no bidding war lol yanks have the clear top offer
— ShadowNinja (Kyle) (@LordShadowNinja) November 30, 2022

Simple…. everyone is saving for Ohtani.
— LadyBird78 (@Bird78Lady) November 30, 2022
Unless another team is offering more, they don't need to bump anything.

I pretty much have lost faith that the @SFGiants won’t sign Aaron Judge.

We’ve heard nothing but “Aaron Judge will return to the Yankees” these last couple of hours. What we haven’t heard since their initial meeting is *anything* from the Giants side. So either they’ve been told they’re out, or Farhan doesn’t want to spend that kind of money. 🤷🏻♂️

Aaron Judge put together arguably the greatest season by any position player not named Barry Bonds in 50+ seasons.
We can afford to remove doubt and overpay a bit.

Notably, before the 2022 season commenced, the Pinstripes offered a seven-year extension to Judge worth $213.5 million. However, negotiations on this contract never worked out; and the slugger ended up agreeing upon a $19 million contract for his arbitration year and entered free agency following the Yankees’ postseason exit.
